National Recycling Stars

The National Recycling Stars scheme recognises UK organisations that are committed to increasing the amount of waste they recycle and improving the environmental awareness of their staff. 

Organisations can be awarded up to three stars depending on their level of recycling excellence.  In order to ensure that this level is sustained, Stars are reviewed on an annual basis.

Star holders will be provided with a certificate, annual newsletter and entry on to the Recycling Stars website to enable like minded organisations to work together.

For those of you aspiring to be a Recycling Star, or looking to improve on existing environmental initiatives, the scheme runs live events across the UK.

These are an opportunity for you to meet and network with key figureheads in the recycling and environmental sectors. You can ask questions, receive support and gain advice on how to make your company more sustainable.

National Recycling Awards 2011

These annual awards continue to reward and support the efforts of local authorities and councils, as well as construction and retail sectors. The waste management community is fully recognised, rewarded and represented at the National Recycling Awards.

Last year the awards brought together almost 600 professionals from a wide range of industries, demonstrating the importance of recycling and waste management achievements in all aspects of business.
