Did you know that producing paper from recovered fibre only uses about half the energy required to produce paper from raw materials? This is because most of the energy used in papermaking is consumed during the pulping stage, which is unnecessary for recovered fibre.
On average paper can be recycled six times before the fibres become too short to be reused so the environmental benefits are clear.
