SRF & Fuels
Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) is one of the principal outputs of the Intelligent Transfer Station/Mechanical Biological Treatment process. It can be used to replace fossil fuels for generating electricity, industrial heat and power in a range of industrial processes. SRF has a high carbon neutral content, so provides a potent source of renewable energy by displacing fossil fuels and their CO2 emissions.
